Very superstitious..the writing on the wall

I've been reminded in case conference this morning that today is "the" day, the dreaded 3 sixes day. It's been all over the media the past two weeks or so, with stories about mothers with this due date being anxious and thinking about induced labor to avoid any possibility of giving birth today, as well as other doomsday concerns about things going wrong today. Anything to make life more interesting and new topic to discuss I guess, since it seems a bit ridiculous, given that the date is actually 06/06/2006. That 2006 is a far cry from being a six, it's only the shorthand that makes it out to be 06/06/06. But then again, you've got 0's and well as 6's in that number. That being said, I know there are really superstitious people out there, and as much as it feels like the media is just finding something else to stir up a bit, I'm sure there are at least some people out there who may be holing up for the day, afraid something bad might happen.
